Q: Who should give online? Anyone who is looking for a simpler way to assure their giving. Anyone who would like to give to the ministry of Valley Christian Center either one time or on a recurring basis.

Q: Why should I give online? It's a personal preference, but here are a few of the benefits we hear frequently (see Benefits of Giving).

Q: Is online giving secure? Yes it is! See our page about security.

Q: How do I give online? Click the "Give Online" button and follow the prompts to create an account and set up your contribution.

Q: I clicked the "Give Online" button and nothing happens. When you click Online Giving, a new browser window is opened. If you are using a pop-up blocker such as the Google Toolbar, Norton Internet Security, or Pop-Up Stopper, the window will not open. Most tools will allow you to permit pop-ups on a specific web site. In order to use the Giving area, you will need to allow pop-ups within www.dublinvcc.org.

Q: I noticed you accept credit cards. We accept Visa, MasterCard, Discover, and American Express.  However, we don't want to encourage credit card use for contribution giving, particularly for large gifts.  For every transaction your gift is deducted 2.5% for credit card processing fees while there is only a 50 cent charge for an electronic check.

Q: When are gifts processed? You are able to choose the date your gifts are to be processed.

Q: If I elect to make scheduled contributions, when would this contribution be charged to my account? On the signup screens, you can specify whether you want your contribution made one time, weekly, every other week (bi-weekly), twice per month (1st and the 15th), monthly, quarterly, or yearly. You can set up as many schedules as you would like, so it is possible to give a monthly gift as well as a weekly one.

Q: Can I test this by giving one time? Yes. You may test Online Giving by selecting “One Time” in the frequency drop down box of the signup process.

Q: What if I'm not a VCC member, but I want to make a donation? How would I be able to get a statement for tax purposes? We are happy to receive your gift, above and beyond your normal giving to your own home church. Online giving is a perfect way for you to give. All givers receive a contribution statement regardless of membership status, assuming we have all of their correct address information.

Q: What if I want to cancel or change my online giving? You may do so at any time.

Q: Can I view my past giving history online? Once your gift has been processed, you may view your giving history online three business days after you have established your new account in our current system. Going forward, you will be able to view ALL OF your giving history at any time by viewing the Contribution History box. This will provide each donation you made, whether online or in one of our services, when you made it, and a year-to-date total.

Q: How can I keep track of my Vision for our Valley Pledge status? Once you have created an online code you will be able to see all of your giving and all of your pledges.  You may also call Dave Cariveau at (925) 560-6202 and ask for a current status.  When you are giving towards your Vision for our Valley Pledge, please make sure you select "Vision for our Valley (V4RV)" as your giving selection.

Q: How can I get a receipt of my online gift? You will receive a contribution statement in the mail quarterly.  All of your contributions, whether given online or in a regular service, will appear on these paper statements.

Q: My question is not listed here, now what? If you have any questions about this process, please contact  Dave Cariveau (contribution questions) or Kelly Kindall (web questions) at (925) 560-6202.
