Forerunners
Enjoy social and service activities on various dates throughout the year. This vital ministry is geared to inspire and equip those in and approaching life’s second half. Forerunners enjoy being active in various activities including spiritual and motivational special guests, bocce ball, train trips, bowling, potlucks, dinners at restaurants, theater and more.
Here is what’s coming up:
October 23 & 30, November 13 & 20 | Ballroom Dance Instruction | Tuesdays, 7:00 pm, ES Auditorium
The second session of four classes will begin on Tuesday, October 23 in the Elementary School Auditorium from 7:00 – 8:30 pm. The fee is $15 per person per four class session. These beginner level classes will include Foxtrot, Swing, Slow Two Step and Rumba. New students are welcome the first two nights.
October 27 | Potluck and Extended Roots | Saturday, October 27, 5:30 PM, Fireside Room (Preschool Building)
The Forerunners group will host a potluck and feature musical guests, Extended Roots, on Saturday night, October 27.

R – Z Main Dish
Extended Roots is an acoustic band comprised of 13 women from the East Bay area who have come together with a common passion, the love of music. Their repertoire includes both instrumental and vocal numbers and is predominately traditional music from the roots of America.
Monetary donations will be accepted and applied towards an Honorarium gift for the band.

Join Ward Tanneberg, Valley Christian's Pastor Emeritus and CASA Network President at a one day conference with a focus on bringing generations together.
