At Valley Christian Center, prayer is a vital part of our services, events and activities. There are many opportunities for you to receive prayer for healing, deliverance, encouragement, and support. If you would rather give than receive, please consider joining one of our intercessory groups that meet on a weekly basis. Remember, a church only moves forward on its knees!

Altar Ministry
Each Sunday morning Valley Christian Center opens up the altar and provides you with the opportunity to pray with a mature, seasoned, trained member of the Altar Ministry Team. It is common to receive emotional/physical healing, prophetic insight, and a special touch from God during these weekly encounters!

Gap Prayer Group (GAP)
Lead by seasoned prayer warriors, you are invited to join this faithful group and “stand in the gap” for the needs, issues, and requests of the Valley Christian Church and School families. This is a group that welcomes anyone with a heart for intercession!

Sunday Morning Intercession (SMI)
A wise man once said; “The Meeting on Sunday morning is the spiritual barometer for what takes place on ‘The Hill’ the remainder of the week.” These words are a challenge to the people of VCC to petition God for His presence, direction, and blessing for our Sunday services.

Monthly Offerings
Fasting (FAST)
Fasting 1st week of each month as the Lord directs for 1 meal, 1 day, or the entire week (M-F) Pastoral led prayer at 3:15-4:15pm each Monday, and 12:00-1:00pm each Friday of these weeks in the Sanctuary. *Resurrection week will offer 6-7am prayer in addition to fasting.

Open Space (OS)
Come and let loose in a spiritually charged atmosphere as we worship and pray as the Holy Spirit leads. The use of spiritual gifts is common and encouraged as we provide God “Open Space” to speak and move. This season, we will focus on praying for the cities of Dublin, Pleasanton, San Ramon, & Livermore. There will also be an opportunity to receive personal prayer for illness, injury, healing, and affliction.

Miracles & Warfare (M&W)
This monthly meeting is designed to meet the spiritual and physical needs of those within VCC and the surrounding region. Individuals that suffer from demonic oppression, injury, or illness are invited to be prayed over by trained prayer warriors.

Emergencies, accidents and illness are all part of life, but you don’t have to face them alone. Valley Christian’s Emergency intercessors will be notified immediately of your need and will begin to intercede on your behalf. Prayer is a powerful weapon against illness and infirmity. Valley Christian Center believes in the laying on of hands and praying for the healing of those who are suffering any type of affliction. We are happy to come to your home or residing hospital to pray over you, anoint you with oil, and to bring a word of encouragement and hope.

The Cleansing Stream Seminar is a 9-week course that prepares and disciples participants to receive healing and deliverance at the Regional Cleansing Stream Retreat. The Cleansing Stream Discipleship Basic Training Program is the “next step” for those that have completed the Cleansing Stream Seminar and have attended a CS retreat. This program will prepare participants to grow in understanding of their God-given spiritual authority, as well as to minister and pray at Cleansing Stream Regional Retreats.
