The Lord gave Habakkuk “a guiding principle” that all leaders need to heed: “Leader, write the vision down, make it clear and give it to a herald.” -Habakkuk. 2:2. I believe the vision God has given Valley Christian Center can be summarized in the following phrase:
Ordinary People, touched by the Spirit, to reach a city God loves, through their design.
This one line reveals where I am bringing this church, defines who is going to get us there and explains how we are going to get there. I hope to challenge your entire paradigm of what church is today. When you put these four truths side by side, it has a punch to it that seems to shatter the small and inept view so many have of Christ’s church.
