From time to time, each of us face questions, life changes, spiritual crises, marriage tune-ups, family system issues, emotional trauma, and other life situations. In addition to offering hope to real people in a real world, we offer guidance for individuals and couples.

Our Pastoral Team gives counsel from the Scriptures, helping people learn how principles from God's Word may be applied to related situations in their lives. By understanding and applying the Scriptures to problems in everyday life, people are empowered with God's perfect will for life.  Pastoral Care Ministries sees to it that a pastor is available for emergencies.  If you have a need to speak with a pastor, call the office at (925) 560-6202.

Many times, issues can be addressed with Pastoral Care staff while other times we may suggest referral to a counselor who specializes in psychological and personality issues and who support values and methodology that we believe.

You will find a scriptually sound, non-judgmental, grace-based, hope-seeking and confidential approach to counseling/coaching. This is provided to members and attendees of Valley Christian Center. Referrals to professional counselors and psychologists will be a fee based service and will be addressed by them.  Referrals to ministry based non-fee services will be made where possible.
